Who we are

John Kent Water is a sole proprietorship run by John Kent in Pinellas Park, Florida. You can reach us at (727) 513-5817 or johnkentwater@gmail.com. "We," "us," and "our" in this policy mean John Kent Water.

What we collect

When you use johnkentwater.com or book a water test, we collect:

  • What you tell us: name, phone number, email, home address and ZIP code, whether you own or rent, your water source, what you'd like to know about your water, who referred you, and any notes you give us (for example, a gate code).
  • Booking details: the date and time you choose.
  • Consent records: whether you agreed to texts, the date and time, your IP address, the page you used, and the exact consent wording you saw.
  • Basic site data: referral and campaign codes in the link you clicked (such as ?src= or utm_ tags), plus standard technical data such as browser type.

    • How we use it

    We use your information to schedule and confirm your water test, send reminders, follow up about your request and results, answer your questions, keep records of your consent, see which referral partners and campaigns bring in requests, and meet our legal obligations.

    Text messaging

    We text you only if you check a consent box. There are two separate boxes: one for appointment texts (confirmations, reminders, "on my way") and one for occasional offers. Neither is required to book a test or to buy anything. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.

    Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

    Sharing

    We never sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only so they can do that work:

  • Cloudflare: hosts our website and passes your form details to our CRM.
  • Close: our customer database, used for email, calls, and (once enabled) texts.
  • Google Calendar: booking and scheduling.

    • We may also share information if the law requires it.

    Your choices and contact

  • Email: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or reply "unsubscribe."
  • Texts: reply STOP.
  • Access, correction, or deletion: call (727) 513-5817 or email johnkentwater@gmail.com, and we'll help, subject to any records we're required to keep (such as consent records).

    • We keep information only as long as needed or required by law. Our site isn't meant for children under 18. If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
